BROKEN PIECES (pg 5)

“My favourite Psalm”, thought Janet. “I had the answer all the time yet I did not apply it to my own life. ‘Trust’- it’s a little word, but my life must hang on to the coathanger of trust. For I am reminded in scripture even a sparrow does not fall to the ground without the Lord seeing it. Lord, you are my hope; for today; tomorrow; the future, because the broken pieces of my life are sealed together with Your love. I am your child. You love me.”

The early morning rays of sunshine shone through the bedroom window, reminding Janet it was time to get up. Another busy day ahead.

A little vase lay broken, beyond repair, in an old shoe box on the kitchen floor. It didn’t matter. All that mattered was that Janet felt secure in the arms of Jesus. She was not alone. For the eye that’s on the sparrow, watches over her!
